GeoStory är i grunden en guideapp som visar kulturhistoriska objekt om platsen användaren för tillfället befinner sig på. Vi har lagt in kopplingar mot historiska databaser och mot visarkivet med historisk musik. Det går även att lägga in inlästa historiska berättelser, geostories, om en plats. Med tiden har GeoStory utvecklats till så mycket mer. Nu arbetar vi främst med att tillgängliggöra quiz i samband med erövrande av de historiska objekten i spelet Heritage Hunter. Allt i appen är knutet till kulturhistoria och plats.
Betatestare
När man utvecklar så behöver man testa och man behöver egentligen testa mycket. Vi är ju så få i teamet så vi försöker ragga lite externa personer som kan testa och rapportera eventuella fel samt ge förslag på förbättringar innan vi släpper produkten för alla. Det kallas för betatestning och innebär egentligen bara att man får en version tidigare än andra och testar och rapporterar fel. Känner du att du vill vara med och hjälpa till? GeoStory lär ut historien om platsen där användaren befinner sig på ett roligt sätt. I spelet Heritage Hunter kan du erövra de historiska objekten i appen.
